Job Title: Finance Business Analyst
Length: 6 Month Contract with potential for permanent
Location: Oakville, ON (Fully in office)
Hours: 9:00AM to 5:00PM
Rates: Between $37.00 and $43.00 per hour
Must be available to start ASAP!
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage all inputs for semi-annual revenue forecasts from a Manufacturing perspective, including unit forecasts for key partners and costing.
- Co-develop and maintain the Manufacturing Scorecard in collaboration with Manufacturing department heads.
- Conduct detailed analyses of booked and projected revenues for the Virox Independent Manufacturing Entity.
- Review budget vs. actual performance for each Manufacturing department and provide actionable cost-reduction recommendations.
- Perform quarterly product rationalization; recommend product discontinuations, pricing adjustments, and monitor cost changes at the product level.
- Analyze potential new business scenarios to determine profitability impacts and financial feasibility.
- Partner with Production Management to track production output and identify opportunities to improve manufacturing efficiency.
- Work with Warehouse Management to enhance capacity planning models and optimize finished goods/raw material skid flow tools.
- Lead and maintain all Manufacturing BI projects/tools to ensure reporting accuracy, usability, and depth.
- Prepare ad-hoc analyses and reports for business units or Executive leadership.
- Leverage AI and advanced analytics to enhance forecasting accuracy, automate reporting workflows, identify operational inefficiencies, and generate data-driven recommendations across Manufacturing and Supply Chain functions.
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Accounting, Business or related field
- Minimum of 2-year experience in a similar role
- Strong organizational skills
- Extensive Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, and PowerPoint
- Data Modelling, forecasting, trending, analytical analysis
- Training and experience with SQL
- Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
- Effective Communicator and Presenter
- Business Case Analysis Experience
- Experience in stakeholder management, requirements gathering, and facilitating cross-functional workshops
- Strong Math Skills
- Intermediate User of Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
