We are looking to increase our diverse and dynamic team with the addition of an accomplished individual.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting to President, the successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate excellent attention to detail with a good grasp of manufacturing processes specifically in metal processing and fabrication;
Analyze blueprints and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates;
Assist in developing tools for improving accuracy and timelines of estimating cost;
Follow and comply with all AS9100 and ISO 9001:2015 manufacturing and quality standards, regulations, legislative and customer requirements to ensure the high standards are maintained;
Work in compliance with all applicable quality, customer and company standards, related policies and procedures;
Abide with instructions, regulations and safety policies;
Perform other duties as instructed or required to successfully complete the job
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or closely related field with a minimum five years of relevant industry experience; or equivalent combined education and on the job training;
Knowledge of Aerospace machining manufacturing processes an asset;
Auto cad experience is a definite asset
Must have strong knowledge of the machining operations;
Familiar with bill of materials (BOM) structure for fabrication;
Commitment to and demonstration of high ethical standards governing professional behavior and interactions;
Demonstrated time management and organizational skills;
Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and concisely in written and verbal formats, including demonstrated capability to develop strong interpersonal working relationships and work in a team environment
ADDITONAL REQUIREMENTS
Basic security clearance (Controlled Goods Program);
Own steel toe safety shoes
