<p><b>Position:</b> Data Annotator, Catalog Content </p><p><b>Location:</b> Fully Remote – Toronto, ON</p><p><b>Salary:</b> $27 per hour </p><p><b>Job Type:</b> 6-month contract to start with a potential for extension</p><p><b>Hours:</b> 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. ET, Monday to Friday</p><p><br></p><p>Our client is searching for a <b>Data Annotator</b> to join their fast-growing team! As a Data Annotator, you will join the Catalog Content team to help curate and label high-quality catalog data. </p><p><br></p><p><b>Key Responsibilities: </b></p><p><br></p><p>- Assist business clients in getting set up through an e-commerce platform</p><p>- Classify and verify production information and directly affect the customer experience</p><p>- Troubleshoot any issues that vendors may be having with the platform and escalate accordingly</p><p>- Support with additional tasks and special projects</p><p>- Assist with launching products and services on available retail platforms</p><p>- Assist with data labeling and data annotation projects to improve catalog quality</p><p>- Verify the quality of attributes through investigating various data points (e.g. image, external websites) to ensure we have high quality for these attributes</p><p>- Review vendor results for data quality workflows to assess vendor accuracy</p><p>- Review results for the brand workflow to standardize different variations of brands into the correct brand using internal/external research</p><p>- Maintain standards for high-quality catalog data and working with brands and content providers to source data</p><p><br></p><p><b>Key Requirements: </b></p><p><br></p><p>- Excellent written and verbal communication skills</p><p>- Degree or diploma in Business Technology, Computer Science, or related field</p><p>- 2+ years of experience working with large sets of data and SQL</p><p>- Google Suite and MS Office is mandatory</p><p>- Knowledgeable in data curation, data labeling, and data annotation</p><p>- Must be detail-oriented and able to juggle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously</p><p>- Excel experience and exposure to Excel commands is mandatory</p><p>- Ability to learn new internal tools/in-house systems and processes quickly</p><p>- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and team spirit</p><p>- Ability to work independently, proactive/resourceful</p><p>- Must pass a criminal background check</p><p><br></p><p><b>Please send your resume in Word format to Sarah Ismail sarah.ismail@quantum.ca.</b></p><p><br></p><p>REFER AND EARN A $50 GIFT CARD!
