Job Description
*Overview*
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our dynamic dental practice. This role involves working collaboratively with our team (3 Dentist and 5 hygienists) to deliver comprehensive dental services while ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment for our patients.
You will be taking over a full patient schedule from a existing doctor who is moving away. The days will be Wednesday and Thursday.
We are a perio oriented office with a robust program and ongoing training
*Duties*
- Perform a variety of dental procedures, including examinations, cleanings, fillings, and extractions.
- Develop treatment plans based on patient assessments and collaborate with the dental team to implement them effectively.
- Utilize dental software such as Maxident for patient management and record keeping.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of treatments performed.
- Educate patients on oral health care, preventive measures, and treatment options.
- Stay updated on advancements in dentistry and incorporate new techniques as appropriate.
- Ensure compliance with all health regulations and safety protocols within the dental office.
*Requirements*
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Active dental license in the state of practice.
- Proficiency in using dental software application, we use Maxident
- Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry.
- willingness to learn and support or perio program
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Commitment to continuing education and professional development in the field of dentistry.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $15,000.00-$20,000.00 per month
