Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Superintendent to oversee the construction of a mid-rise multifamily project utilizing light-gauge steel framing. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing site operations, ensuring adherence to schedule, budget, safety, and quality standards, while leading subcontractors and site staff to deliver a successful project launch in October.
Key Responsibilities
Lead day-to-day site operations for a mid-rise multifamily project built with light-gauge steel framing.
Manage and coordinate subcontractors, trades, and site staff to ensure efficient workflow.
Oversee project scheduling and sequencing, ensuring timelines are met.
Maintain compliance with all health and safety regulations and company standards.
Conduct quality control inspections to ensure workmanship meets design and engineering specifications.
Collaborate with the Project Manager, engineers, architects, and consultants to resolve on-site issues.
Monitor budget allocations and control site-related costs.
Prepare and present progress reports and site updates to senior management.
Act as a key representative of the company on-site, fostering strong relationships with stakeholders.
Qualifications
Minimum 7+ years of construction supervision experience, with a proven track record in mid-rise multifamily projects.
Mandatory experience with light-gauge steel construction methods.
Strong knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and construction best practices.
Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with construction management software and project reporting tools is an asset.
