As a Billing & Client Support Coordinator for our Business Advisory Group, you will report into the Manager, Administration. In your role, you will be responsible for providing critical billing and client support, ensuring a smooth and efficient flow of work. At McGovern Hurley, we operate in a hybrid work environment; due to the nature of this role, our Administrative team is in office Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of administrative and clerical activities
- Support professional staff in daily activities
- Electronic filing of tax returns
- Finalization of financial statements
- Billing and accounts receivable
- Modify and prepare general templates, letters, reports, PowerPoint presentations, Word documents, Excel workbooks, and other correspondence materials
- Coordinate client deliverables
- Assist in client documentation scanning and archiving
- Assist in various internal data reporting needs of the firm
- Assist in various ad-hoc projects and processes
- Occasionally receive and screen all incoming calls
- Work collaboratively with other team members and leadership
- Contribute to the development of new ideas and approaches to improve work processes
Skills And Experience
- 1 – 3 years of basic bookkeeping, clerical accounting, accounts receivable, or administrative experience in a professional working environment; experience in other professional services firms preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience in Excel, TaxPrep, and iFirm are considered an asset
- Resourceful, detail-oriented, and organized
- Ability to prioritize tasks appropriately and effectively
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Adaptability and a willingness to take on new challenges as needed
- Ability to work occasional overtime as workload dictates (typically Feb-Jun and occasional month-ends)
