<p>Bakery Mixer Operator Full-time</p><p>Afternoon Shift starting at 3pm. Must train on days</p><p>Duties and Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Working in a food processing environment.</li><li>Finding and obtaining ingredients from the warehouse.</li><li>Weighing and measuring different ingredients according to the recipe.</li><li>Pouring ingredients into a mixing machine as per recipe instructions.</li><li>Operating the mixing machinery.</li><li>Cleaning of used tools, utensils, and tables at the end of the shift.</li><li>Bringing knives back to production supervisor at end of shift.</li><li>Identifying allergens and following allergen colour coding system.</li><li>Labeling Work in Process ingredients.</li><li>Notifying production supervisor of all quality issues.</li><li>Recording quantity and raw ingredient lot codes on recipes.</li></ul><p>Qualifications:</p><ul><li>Experience in food production industry</li><li>Must be detail oriented</li><li>Follow Food Safety and HACCP systems and GMP rules</li><li>1 to 3 years experience in scaling and mixing in a manufacturing environment</li></ul><p>Working Conditions:</p><ul><li>Ability to stand on their feet for most of the day.</li><li>Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.</li><li>Must wear safety shoes, masks, hairnets and uniform all day.</li></ul><p>Perks</p><p>· Employee discount on baked goods.</p><p>· Vision, dental and extended health benefits.</p><p>· Free parking</p><p>Job Types: Full-time, Permanent</p><p>Pay: $19.00 per hour</p><p>Expected hours: 40 per week</p><p>Benefits:</p><ul><li>Dental care</li><li>Extended health care</li><li>On-site parking</li></ul><p>Ability to commute/relocate:</p><ul><li>North York, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)</li></ul><p>Experience:</p><ul><li>Mixing: 2 years (preferred)</li></ul><p>Location:</p><ul><li>North York, ON (preferred)</li></ul><p>Work Location: In person</p>
