We are seeking an experienced Associate Designer to join our team in Toronto. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SAS programming, data analysis, and SDLC/Agile methodology. This role involves building new capabilities, performing AML Fintan remediation (e.g., duplicate accounts, PA integrity issues), and collaborating with distributed teams on-site.

Responsibilities:

  • Build new capabilities and perform data investigations.
  • Develop and maintain SAS Base and Macro programs.
  • Execute UNIX/AIX shell scripting and work with DB2/SQL databases.
  • Understand Slowly Changing Dimension (SCD) processes.
  • Follow SDLC and Agile methodology for project delivery.
  • Troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis for data-related issues.
  • Work with SAS Enterprise Guide, SAS Interactive, and SAS Management Console.
  • Schedule and manage jobs using tools like CA7 or AutoSys.
  • (Nice to have) Familiarity with WebSphere, Java/J2EE, and AML applications.

Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in distributed team environments.
  • Experience in financial or AML remediation projects is a plus.

Job Type: Fixed term contract

Pay: $55.00 per hour

Experience:

  • SAS Base & Macro Programming: 8 years (required)
  • UNIX/AIX Shell Scripting: 5 years (required)
  • DB2 Database / SQL: 3 years (required)
