You will support control systems across client sites, working hands‑on with migration, troubleshooting, upgrades, and maintenance activities. The role involves field visits, system documentation, and providing technical assistance to customers and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain, migrate, and troubleshoot DCS, Experion PKS, TDC/TPS, and Safety Systems.
- Administer domains, controllers, switches, servers, and network components.
- Support Fault‑Tolerant Ethernet and Microsoft technologies.
- Perform installation, repair, commissioning, and preventive maintenance.
- Assist with hardware/software upgrades and third‑party communication (OPC).
- Identify hazards and troubleshoot logic and control programs.
- Prepare documentation, drawings, audits, and reports.
- Respond to emergency technical calls and provide escalation support.
- Conduct customer presentations and improve service workflows.
Ideal Qualifications
- Post‑secondary education in Electronics, Computer Science, Automation, or Instrumentation.
- 5+ years of experience in DCS, process controls, networking, or related systems.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel up to 20%.
- Experience in virtualization, customer support, and system installations.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
