This role offers:</p><ul><li>Up to $65K (commensurate with experience)</li><li>Benefits</li><li>Vacation</li><li>Will require working in office daily</li></ul><p>Seeking a professional Administrative <span >Assistant/Receptionist</span> to manage front desk operations and provide essential administrative support. This role is fully in-office and requires a reliable, organized individual with strong interpersonal skills and proficiency in MS Office. This position is working within an accounting firm and knowledge of accounting and cloud-based software is a strong asset.</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities will include but not limited to:</strong></p><ul><li>Welcome visitors and clients professionally; direct and announce them appropriately.</li><li>Answer, screen, and forward phone calls; take accurate messages.</li><li>Manage daily mail, courier shipments, and prepare bank deposits.</li><li>Update calendars, schedule meetings, and maintain filing systems.</li><li>Perform clerical duties such as filing, scanning, photocopying, transcribing, and faxing.</li><li>Prepare boardrooms for meetings, including technology setup and refreshments.</li><li>Assist with compiling financial statements and other documents.</li><li>Support tax preparation and filing processes, including filing CRA documents and downloading notices.</li><li>Maintain tidy, organized, and welcoming reception area, boardrooms, and kitchenette.</li><li>Maintain office supplies, stock, and equipment.</li><li>Perform other administrative duties as assigned.</li><li>Follow office security and safety procedures.</li></ul><br><br><p><strong>Qualifications include:</strong></p><ul><li>Minimum 5+ years of experience in administration, office support, or front desk operations, preferably from an accounting firm or professional services.</li><li>High school diploma and additional certification in Office Administration or related field is an asset.</li><li>Strong professional demeanor with excellent customer service skills.</li><li>Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and various accounting software is a strong asset.</li><li>Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.</li><li>Must have flexibility to work outside business hours during peak season.</li></ul></p></p>
