The Actuarial Consultant supports ACG’s strategic objectives by designing, developing, and improving actuarial functions, especially on complex projects requiring expert knowledge. This includes leading a team of Actuarial Analysts and Senior Actuarial Analysts to meet performance requirements.

Accountabilities:

  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert in cross-functional projects
  • Act as liaison between business units and systems
  • Develop and integrate SAS and Visual Basic programs for actuarial projects
  • Support development of new rating plans, products, and methodologies
  • Coach and review work of junior staff
  • Communicate complex analyses and provide recommendations
  • Support rate changes, filings, and new product introductions
  • Ensure compliance with CAS and CIA standards

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience
  • Advanced knowledge of product, pricing, risk management, and insurance regulation
  • Experience with predictive analytics and model evaluation
  • Strong project management skills
  • Excellent communication skills
