Salary: CA$60,000.00 - CA$63,000.00 per year

DMD Management is a growing management company located in the Lower Mainland, and we are looking for an Accounts Payable Associate!


The ideal candidate will excel in a fast-paced, evolving environment and possess a strong commitment to continuous improvement.


The Accounts Payable Associate will be responsible for delivering financial, administrative, and clerical support to ensure our operations are effective, efficient, and accurate.


Responsibilities:

  • Receive and verify invoices against purchase orders for goods and services.
  • Ensure invoices have appropriate documentation and approval before processing into the accounting system.
  • Reconcile and enter corporate credit card transactions.
  • Code and enter vendor invoices accurately and efficiently.
  • Verify vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements, related transactions, and correcting discrepancies.
  • Assist with weekly cheque runs.
  • Handle vendor inquiries professionally.
  • File, photocopy, and scan documents; perform data entry into various business management software tools.
  • Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy.
  • Sort, distribute, and process incoming and outgoing mail, faxes, couriers, and emails.
  • Provide support to the Accounting team as needed.


Qualifications:

  • Two years of experience in Accounts Payable or a Junior Accountant role.
  • Diploma in Accounting or a related discipline.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in working within a multi-company organization is an asset
  • Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and achieve objectives without direct supervision.
  • Ability to work additional hours as necessary to meet deadlines.
  • At least one year of experience managing a high volume of requests.
