As an Account Executive, you will be selling Risk Management Solutions (Driver Risk management platform – Data reporting/online courses) to businesses that operate fleet vehicles. This position focuses on hunting for new business.

This position offers a base salary of $100,000 plus uncapped commissions with many other perks!

OFFICE LOCATION & SALES TERRITORY:
Headquarters office – Toronto, Ontario, Canada
This position offers Friday as a work-from-home day, Monday – Thursday in the office
The territory is global
EXPERIENCE, BACKGROUND & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
3-5 years of Business Development/B2B Sales experience
3-5 years of experience in full-cycle consultative solution sales
Valid passport with zero travel restrictions
Valid driver’s license however a car is not required
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
Basic office applications
Experience with CRM system
THE PRODUCT / SERVICE / SOLUTION :
Risk management solutions (claims reductions, and liability protection) for organizations that operate fleet vehicles.
Digitizating the fleet driver safety ecosystem from driver assessment and onboard training (on how to drive safely) through to remedial training, including reporting on compliance requirements.
PROSPECTIVE CUSTOMERS / INDUSTRY FOCUS / DECISION-MAKER(S):
Utility companies and companies that have a national & international presence.
Organizations that build and support infrastructure (ie: utilities & telecommunications companies)
SALES CYCLE / PRODUCT VALUE / ACCOUNT SIZE:
Average order size varies from $100,000 – $500,000
The selling cycle is usually from 6 months – 12 months

To provide reports on the progress of the safety objectives in a digitized format that allows organizations to make quicker, informed business decisions.

TYPICAL DAY & DUTIES:
New business development: 85%
Admin Duties: 25%
LEADS:
Warm Leads Supplied – 25%
Prospect & Create Own List – 75%
OVERNIGHT TRAVEL:
1 st year: (ie: 1 trade show requiring about 3-5 nights away)
2 nd year: Trade show/customers requiring about 20 nights away (highest side).
