Responsibilities include installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Work ensures safe and efficient power distribution while adhering to electrical codes and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
■ Electrical Installation – Laying out, assembling, and connecting wiring, fixtures, and control equipment.
■ Troubleshooting & Repairs – Diagnosing faults and ensuring electrical systems operate safely.
■ Blueprint Interpretation – Reading and following electrical plans and specifications.
■ Safety & Compliance – Ensuring all work meets industry standards and safety regulations.

Conduit & Raceway Installation – Measuring, cutting, and installing conduits for electrical wiring.
■ Testing & Verification – Inspecting and testing electrical components to ensure proper functionality.
Qualifications & Training:
■ Completion of a 9,000-hour apprenticeship, including on-the-job and in-school training
■ Certification through the Ontario College of Trades
■ Knowledge of equipment controls and 3 phase generators an asset
■ Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
■ Clear Driver's Abstract
Job Information
■ Monday to Friday with occasional weekend work as needed
■ Guaranteed 40 hours per week
■ Overtime available
■ $40-50/hour depending on experience
