We are currently supporting a holding company of ecommerce brands in their search to find a leader of the supplement and wellness vertical. The twobrands, each generating about$10 million in annual revenue, are at the forefront of the health and wellness industry. We are committed to delivering innovative and high-quality products that enhance the well-being of our customers.
Position Summary: We are seeking a visionary Chief Executive Officer (CEO) with a proven track record in scaling e-commerce brands, particularly those with significant operations on Amazon and DTC envrionments. The CEO will be responsible for crafting strategic initiatives that drive growth, overseeing daily operations, and leading our talented teams of ecommerce experts. You will be accountable for the revenue growth of two well established brands, team culture and the development of new product lines. This is a very autonomous role, but you will have the ownership/board members to support you in your journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute high-level strategies for expanding the company’s market presence and increasing revenue, with a specific focus on enhancing our Amazon sales channel.
- Team Management: Lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams across marketing, sales, operations, and product development to achieve set objectives.
- Financial Oversight: Oversee the company’s financial functions, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning, ensuring the brands continue to grow in profitability.
- Brand Management: Uphold and enhance the reputation and competitive position of our brands, ensuring they align with customer expectations and market trends.
- Operational Excellence: Streamline operations to improve efficiency, customer satisfaction, and speed-to-market for new products.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize analytics and data insights to inform strategic decisions and improve operational effectiveness.
- Stakeholder Relations: Engage with investors, board members, and other key stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment with the company’s long-term goals.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an executive leaderor in a similar executive role within the e-commerce industry, specifically with substantial exposure to selling on Amazon. Ideally you have grown a supplement brand from 10mm – 50mm+ in revenue.
- Strong financial acumen and experience managing a P&L of $10 million or more.
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and lead diverse teams. People like working with you, and you have a network of functional experts that you can tap into if needed.
- Proficient in data analysis and performance metrics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to forge strong relationships with employees, partners, and stakeholders.
